The CTN-9100 provides the hardware interface between the newest multi-stream CableCARD, the M-Card, and middleware stacks, demodulators, and MPEG decoders. The controller implements OpenCable CableCARD Interface and Copy Protection Specifications. The robust architecture of the CTN-9100 allows seamless integration of software on any system over a PCI bus. The CTN-9100 is designed for devices, such as set-top-boxes, which provide a secure host processor for execution of middleware software stacks for the CableCARD Processor.
